Saw this as a daily deviation last week and it caught my eye. Been practicing some digi paintings in gray scale and thought this would be perfect for practice. Took about 4-5 hours in PS CS3. Hope you enjoy

Awesome work. Great skin color- that's a tough one sometimes.
I like the sky but I dunno, I'm not sure about purple. True blue-gray would probably have been too much blue-gray but a sick, stormy green-gray might have worked well. Just a thought. Doesn't take away from the great job you did!

good coloring, but wrong. Imperial Fists wears yellow armour, Ultramarines is blue.

Ah.. sorry bout that. I was just thinking about the colors used in old civil war paintings, wasn't aiming for accuracy. Thanks though
