So yah I finish Halo: Reach, saddest game ever. And this kinda came into mind. From the beginning of the game you know something bad will happen through out its storyline.So I had Damita (my spartan III) kinda in the beginning of the game. She already knows her fate on Reach, she is just there for the ride.
But in other thoughts the marine gets to see a rare site, a spartan's smile.
I was thinking to continue this but I dont know, whats your guys thoughts on it? Sorry if you cant read it.. and if the art is kinda crappy..

bro thanks. I really need to redraw this and honestly I think I will. Reach still holds a super special place in my heart. Also Damita has gotten a character update since then so this will look a bit different.

It looks amazing, and I think a story would be really good. It lets you tell the story of not just Noble, but of your own spartan.

"From the beginning, you know the end" was the original tag line for Reach. I wish they kept that tag line but for some reason they didn't. Regardless, this drawing captures that feeling of inevitability that you knew was going to happen throughout the whole game in both the dialog, the Spartan's personality and the drawing itself. How she knows is going to happen is beyond me. And yes, Reach had probably the most depressing level of all time, Lone Wolf. I was shouting at Bungie when they basically said "you're going to die, it is inevitable, deal with it." I especially loved and was growling at the cracks in your visor as you took damage. The only happy thing is that basically, your character saves humanity by delivering Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn. Regardless, a great drawing that for some reason reminds me of a rough that Kohta Hirano would do for Hellsing before finalizing it.
Really, it's your decision if you wanna continue this series. If done right, you can really come out with something really good. As a writer i see a lot of potential in something like this and if it was my drawing, i could easily write a story that could coincide with this.

Oh wow.. *blushes at the nice comments you have so nicely written out* I'm glad you like it. Yah But when I was playing the ending, I guess I survived too well cause my screen only cracked once then suddenly all the ammo in my gun was gone and I had no grenades.. I was mad at bungie for that. I tried to run away too... They didnt want me to survive.. That defeats the whole purpose of calling a mission "Survive!".
Well thank you for your wise words and commentary. If I do decide to continue and come to a bump in the road (storyline) I think i'll ask you for some help ^^

As fer the game, yeah, its pretty depressing, fun as hell, but depressing. But atleast most of the spartans go out like badasses, my favorite death was Carter's. It still sad though, I'll admit.
