found this lil guy and took a bunch of photos - but it didn't take long to notice that it was missing its other leg
it moved very slowly and carefully.poor guy! hopefully by staying in the grasses, it can avoid being eaten. i wish you luck lil grasshopper! he's not giving up quite yet! maybe he lost his leg due to a predator!

thanks a lot! here in ohio, they usually appear mid-summer/end of summer. every once in a while i will see a stray one before then, but it doesn't happen too often.
