1/6/11my cockatiel lewie is an awesome subject for photos!
i present to you - my first photo with my new camera on dA! yayy!
i took a whole series of different shots of my lil boy lewie - so expect more to come!
he just loves the camera, very photogenic. just extra info: lewie is over 10years old
i've had him (and my other bird chiken) for a long time.RIP: june 30, 2011

I got two. I have a Whiteface just like this one, and a Yellowface. Had them since 1997.

I got Sunny when I was a little kid, got my mom really ma at me too because our porch wasn't screened in but I took him out on the porch-swing and set him on it to take some pictures!
I'm gonna see if I can find those, if I can I'll upload them at some point!

Trust me, Sunny used to be quite a ham! As soon as you got a camera out he started posing!
He also had certain music he liked, if you played it he would dance to it and if you played one he didn't like he would start shrieking at you to change it!

ya they like some music. they especially like the commercials that are on - nowadays, many have chimes and whistles in the background

When I lived in SC Sunny used to perch on the curtain-rod and listen to the wild birds outside, he eventually learned to mimic them all. Do yours do anything similar?

hehe ya! however, they used to mimick/talk to canadian geese as they flew by. they do their normal chirps at other birds/whistling commercials. haha

Wow...you know...I thought that was a CANON but I'm happy that is an Olympus...I like when people take cameras that are different than CANON.I own a Pentax :3
