Non-lethal: Stun weapons are considered class A weapons, and can be owned by civilians with the proper, "Stun Weapon License", however, they are more often seen as the primary weapons of the CRPD.

Department of Internal Affairs (DIA): personal laser Weapons are considered class B weapons, and are considered restricted within the Chronos Republic, and are the most common lethal grade weapon the Chronos Republic Police Division possesses, and they are also quite common with all other sub divisions of the DIA.

Para-Military: MAG Rifles, MAG Pistols, Rail guns, and all other Gauss weapons are class C Weaponry, and are restricted in use, even among the police, other than the "Robot Defense Force" (the Chronos Republics equivalent to a standing army), and SWAT Units in the police force, Rail guns are contraband within the chronos Republic.

Military: Particle Beam Weapons, Binary Chemical Explosives, "Proton Lancer" Anti Tank Cyborg Rifles, and any other weapons that Exceed Class C Weaponry, is considered class D Weaponry, and is extremely restricted, only the Robot Defense Force, is permitted access to this level of weaponry.

Non citizens: of the Chronos Republic can own and carry whatever weapons their own laws allow, as long as they do not take them off of their ship, Embassy, or whatever other Neutral territory applies.

their is one exception however, carrying any form of a weapon of mass destruction (class E Wepon), within Chronos Republic space, such as a nuclear device, Weaponized contagion, or other weapon designed to destroy an area, or sentient beings within an area greater than 500 Meters (1/2 Kilometer), is the third worst crime that can be committed under their laws, the second greatest being use of such a weapon, either of which following being convicted at trial carries a minimum sentence of thirty five years imprisonment in a maximum security Detention Facility.

Restricted Weapon Permit: can be issued to any individual who has a valid reason to carry a clas B, C, or D restricted weapon within the Chronos Republic, and has passed standard competency training with the weapon that the permit is for.

no matter what however, class E weapons (weapons of mass destruction), are illegal for private individuals to possess for any reason, and Chronos Republic Law is very clear on the matter that Class E Weapons must be handled by either a "Hazardous Contraband" Team from the DIA, or a "Weapons specialist" team from the Chrono Forces, and either one, are to do so only with a fully armed guard squad present.
