The boys thought it would be really funny to put some pumpkins on their heads and startle the girls, then they discovered their new "masks" were stuck on just a teeny weeny bit too tight. So in the end it turns out the prank was indeed hilarious. Too bad they aren't the ones laughing.

We don't do Halloween here but I'd be lying if I said it didn't look like fun.

I think it depends on which Fred it is. Pup named Scooby-Doo Fred probably would have been the one to suggest it, the oldest Fred seen in zombie island and cyber chase wouldn't participate, whats new Scooby-Doo Fred wasn't super mature so he would go along with it and current DTV Fred is supposed to be a teenager but he acts like hes 40. If Fred was a real 16 year old boy there's no way he would have been able to resist it. So I figure a less mature Fred makes more sense. Shaggy and Scooby having stuff in common with the others occasionally also explains why they are friends in the first place. Its suggested occasionally as a lazy reoccuring "joke" in the current DTVs that mysteries are the only things holding the gang together. Which makes no sense because Shaggy and Scooby hate mysteries, if that really was all they did together then those two would have stopped hanging out with the guys ages ago.
I know you didn't ask for the essay but I did give that point a lot of thought while I was drawing this. Also Scooby Doo is one of my favorite things to rant about, so it doesn't take much to get me typing.

1) make the hole bigger by cutting of some bits here and there
