My kitty character for my group, Flight'sCalling.

About her:

Name: Raina

Age: 3 years

Gender: Female

Rank: Leader

Skills: Small, agile, can run quick, but for small distances only, fair and silent flyer, good hunter, not very strong.
Other: Often getting overwhelmed, she prefers to sit in her den and think. When she's not in her den, she hates being alone. If you give her time to think, she's a great problem solver, but she hates pressure. Many cats talk behind her back that she is too young to be their leader, but she ignores it, knowing she is just fine to have the job. She always wants company, and feels lonely sometimes.

Bird: Barn Owl. a lighter grey with a darker grey back, darker dapples, dull red tipped wings, and blue eyes that fade to green with yellow highlights. Very unusual markings and colors for her breed of bird.

Story When she was young, she was always dreading the day she would be old enough to be sent to bond. She had a fear of heights and always stalled being sent into the forest to find her bird. When she was finally forced to look for one, she found many, but none of them connected with her. Feeling cursed, she left her chaperone and walked around sad, feeling like she would never bond. She was half happy, as she thought she would never have to fly. When she came across a barn owl. She wasn't sure what to think. She thought about running away, scared of the large predator, but she was frozen in place. The bird landed in front of her, and towered over her. She suddenly felt a burst of cold air, and before she could tell what had happened, the bird was gone. Where the owl had once stood lay two of it's feathers. She had bonded with the multicolored owl, and brought back the feathers and the marking on her paw. As she got more comfortable with flying, she learned to silently hunt and feed the group with many mice and squirrels. To the day she became leader, she wears her feathers proud, remembering how she didn't run, but she was brave, and earned her wings. Many protests are shot that she has become leader, but she ignores their anger and stands tall to take care of her cats.
