As one of the weaker cats of the Gang, Tobie has to work twice as hard as everyone else in order to keep her place as a gatherer. She wouldn't mind being a Daktari, but also enjoys her current job as a gatherer. To prove everyone wrong, she always feels the need to work hard to achieve goals, even if it does exhaust her. She is loyal, and wants to show everyone that even though she isn't the strongest or smartest, she can still be useful to the gang. She's always trying to prove herself to everyone, and wants to be accepted.

Caring |
A big part of Tobie is how caring she is for the ones she loves. She cares for them more than she does herself and tries to make sure everyone is fine before tending to her own needs. She's fascinated with medicines and herbs, and would've loved to treat wounded and sick cats, but that is specifically assigned to the Daktari's, but still keeps some remedies on her mind to tend to those close to her. She hates seeing cats around her unhappy, and believes happiness is a key to success. She could care less about strangers and often treats them sternly and serious, but once around the ones she knows, she's like an open book.

One of Tobie's biggest traits is her constant thinking. You will often find her sitting quietly by the sea and meditating, surrounded by her own thoughts. It's a way for her to escape the stress of the world, and she enjoys organizing her feelings and problems by taking time to think about them. History
Pre-Birth
Alec and Jess were both apart of the Gang, growing up with the fellow members. Alec had always admired the mystery and red fur of Jess, but was always to shy to get to know her. Jess barely knew Alec existed, and often ignored him and shrugged him off as "just another member." When they all grew up, everyone started falling in love, and Jess was still a lonely cat, which wasn't a surprise as she wasn't a very preferable cat. Desperate for someone to be with as she grew old, she went on a search for a companion. After a while, she started to pick up hints and begun to realize why Alec had always offered her some of his food or cleared a path for her. They fell in a half-real love, and expecting a great kit, Tobie was born.

Kitten
Tobie, originally thought to be a male, and later discovered female, was a shy kitten. She hated attention and never ate as much food as any of the other kittens. This worried both parents, and they knew, as an only child, she would probably not go far in life, being a small and scrawny cat. Alec pushed her into being confident and tried to help her out as much as he could, while Jess didn't make as much of an effort. Tobie would often asked if Jess even loved her. One night, when supposed to be asleep, Tobie had heard Jess talking about how disappointed she was that her only kit was never going to accomplish anything in life and would most likely end up a Daktari. Tobie didn't exactly understand, but still could figure out she wasn't good enough for her mother. All she had wanted was to make her parents happy, so tended to stick around her father, as he believed in her. He was more of a parent to her than Jess could ever be, and Jess pretty much disowned her. Alec taught her all her mother should've. Alec did not however, push the idea of religion on her, but would tell her the basic knowledge. When she grew to be six months, there was a delay on her becoming of a Tyro, has the high ranks had to discuss if she would make it to be a gatherer. After awhile, they finally decided to give her a chance and barely passed to become a Tyro, mentored by Thomas. She was to become a gatherer, rather she liked it or not, as they were letting her off easy in the first place. Alec had raised her to try her best no matter what, and work hard for who you're loyal to.

Tyro/Young adult
As time went on, Tobie slowly became depressed with her life. She was constantly picked on for being weak, and given cold stares. She knew she didn't deserve to be a Gatherer, but dragged on with her life. She began to hate the lessons with her mentor, who bored her a lot, and preferred watching the Daktari's weave their paws with the assortments of medicines. It fascinated her, and she felt like that was where she belonged, with the other cats just like her. Tobie started becoming less and less involved with the lessons, and was often found dazing away and not focusing. After she started getting into trouble for behaving wrongly, and not adjusting well to the lessons, she would run away to the beach where she would find peace, and would search for seashells until forced back to camp. She was often cold and isolated from the rest of the cats as they grew older, even when they started being nicer and matured. They would make attempts to reach out to her, but she liked being alone. She also began discovering her own philosophy's on religion, but kept it to herself. It did not play a big part in her life. She began to straighten up, and started to appreciate things more, to make her father happy. She began to work hard, and it payed off when she finally got made a gatherer. She started feeling more confident and open, but only to those she's confident with.

Adult
Tobie became a gatherer, and her life started to light up. She loved not being pushed around by the adults all the time, and felt more in control of her life and feelings. Taking time to meditate and relax helped her anxiety issues. She tried her best at every job, and wanted to make sure everyone knew she was trying. Her seashell collection is small, as she keeps only the ones she likes the most. She still isolates herself and seems cold to those who don't know her, but once she's comfortable with a cat she will open up and show her true personalities. She cares deeply for her father still, and tries to please him and the others around her. Tobie keeps her thoughts about the gods to herself, but personally believe the true god is your mind, the voice in your head who tells you whats right from wrong, and feeling in your heart that takes pain and distributes it to your mind and body. She is still developing her beliefs, and will lay on the seaside to think about her feelings and what she believes in. She needs meditation, or she will be exhausted with stress.
