Okay... well, that's your opinion. I, for one, hate her. Her character is just way too boring and dry, in my opinion. And, as I said, it wasn't meant to be offensive to her fans; if you like her, then that's great. More power to you. But, I don't.

Yes, it is. Which is what I said in my original comment; even though I am not a fan of this couple, nor am I a fan of Mai (obviously), the portrait, itself, is absolutely stunning.

*whistles* Wow, VERY impressive. Not only is it gorgeous, but you've also managed to do it in a realistic style, with it still "feeling" very much like the characters themselves--which usually doesn't happen with such dramatic style shifts. Particularly dead-on with Mai.
Anyway, VERY impressive. I'm in awe.

the detail in this is incredible! you put a lot of time into this i can tell. the textures on the fabric i think is problably my favorite part, as soon as i looked at it they just jumped out at me. i also love the expressions on their faces, because even though they seem solemn at first glance, i think you can tell that the pair of them are smiling. beuatifully done, it is amazing!

I really like how this looks like a royal portrait...which is I guess the point. XD It's always interesting to see people do realistic renditions of cartoon characters, and it takes a lot of skill that I wish I had. The textures look awesome too, I need to check some of those out! I loves me some textures. :3
