This is a really amazing piece. These two are easily my favorite couple on the show (they work so perfectly together). What realy amazes me is that, despite the more realistic look you've given them, you've still managed translate their (original) cartoonish facial features perfectly into these faces.

This is beautiful, beautiful artwork here. I've only just gotten into Avatar (yeah, I'm a little late, but still!) and I love the complexity of Zuko's character. This artwork makes the characters come to life and seem almost real. Your use of the colors is done exceptionally well. I can't help but seriously admire everything about it.

No one is asking for your opinion of this couple.
Too many "I'm not a fan of Maiko but..." Yeah, we already know what you're a fan of. Just comment on the work and leave anything concerning Katara out of this. She's not going to magically appear in this picture.

And no one asked you to be rude? I know if I drew something as amazing and fabulous as this, it wouldn't bother me if someone said that wasn't their favorite pairing.
If the artist has an objection with me saying that Maiko isn't my favorite pairing, but this is still by far the best avatar piece I've seen on DA, then he/she can let me know, not someone who's trying to prove a point in all the wrong ways. And if the artist has a problem with it, I will deliver a sincere apology.
If anything, me saying that I adore this picture even though I don't like the pairing is an even bigger compliment than just saying it's amazing. I don't need anyone snipping at me about saying something, unless it's the artist.

Maiko seems to be more of a harmonious pair. They are definitely meant to be and always will be.
