Description As the tittle says, this is the first hat I've made using crochet, and I think it's ended pretty well, since I used to make crochet for clothes and other things. It's not harder to make a hat, you just need to make the form from what you want (bowl, plate...) and crystallize it with a sirup made with sugar and water. Once its dry, its hard as a rock! (unless if you wet it)
45 cm /18 icnhes large.

Added for decoration this ribbon and some butterflies with the same color.

Traduction :

What kind of stitch did you use?
And it would be 18 inches in the US system.

Thanks, I'll add in inches right away ^^

I used single and double crochet, and some chain of course. Very basic!

have you soaking it in glue? I haven't tried doing forms like that but someone told me when i do, line the form with wax paper, soak the crochet in glue then put it on the form.

now that i think about it the sugar thing might be stronger...

Well, as I said, I only used sugar, because it's very strong when dry, and also, if you don't like the way it turns out, you can wash the crochet to and try again!
I haven't been told about glue and don't know how to use it...

I don't even use wax paper, I prefer a solid form, like bowl, plate or, when I don't have the right form with it, made it with cardboard.
