But still, just because their cannon characters and same art style doesn't mean anything. It's like drawing a dragon in the art of Spyro, but because the art style is the same, it HAS to be from Spyro, when it's not.

Well, this is what "fan" stuff is, isn't it? To stray, to explore, what already exists? It's like seeing ponified characters around - I see Link as a pony loads of times, and it looks awesome, but in cannon he isn't a pony. He's human, but there's nothing wrong with it, is it?
Spyro the Dragon is an old Playstation game about a purple dragon you control in the Dragon Realms. In recent years he's been bought by a different company and been changed somewhat - he's currently being used for Skylanders. I used him as an example of artwise since his is such a common one.
But hey, we all have our own likes and opinions right? I think the concept of the pony is interesting, but to you it horrifies you for not being cannon. That's what makes us all different as artists, right?
It's nice to actually talk to someone with a different mindset about art like this without getting my head bitten off, lol

Woah, nice essay! O.o I'm fine with whatever you think, but ponification is a different deal entirely. Link looks fine, but it's like someone making a Link x Zelda fusion or child or whatever and then giving it demon wings and neon skin. It wasn't in the "parents" so you shouldn't just throw random stuff on there! It doesn't really matter though, it's just a comment I made about a design. It doesn't horrify me, I just don't like it. Yes, it makes individuals. That's good!

This is on Terrible Ponies, and for no good reason. Anyone that cannot tell that this is just a play-around fusion of the two characters for fun (aka NOT AN OC) is probably mentally handicapped.
Anyways, nice job! I like the cutie mark.
As said, if you ask them to take it down they will, because honestly I don't see why it's on there in the first place.

You know you CAN just ask them to take your thing down, and if you're polite they likely will. They aren't the ones bullying people, they started the blog for critiquing, but it's the submitters who are assholes.

You go to the question mark at the top of the dashboard and click "contact tumblr" and send them the blog and why it should be taken down.Β
Stupidly though, if it doesn't break any "rules and regulations" of tumblr, they won't take it down. they're not taking down that Terrible Ponies blog because it doesn't break the "rules"
