Here's a fanart of a fanfic I like, "Alice in Undertale". This image should illustrate well the overall point of the story, lol. The quote is from chapter 30. (The title is also a fragment of a quote from that same chapter.)If you look closely, you'll see there's llike another soul inside Alice's soul, which actually represents Frisk's soul (or a part of it) being inside Alice, which is why Frisk was able to guide and help Alice throughout her journey and occasionally talk to her in her mind. (As well as help her create magic manifestations of her imagination, taking the form of the Wonderland characters.)
And sorry if Frisk looks too feminine here, despite he's supposed to be a boy in this story... I'm more used to draw Frisk as a girl and I tried my best to make them look more like a boy here. The result is probably kinda meh, but I tried.
