Casi from the underrated genius playstation cult classic: Ape Escape! If you ask me, this series really needs more love, as it is very fun to play and has some very unique concepts that make it stand out as its own series. Casi was definitely my all-time fav in these games, so I drew her clad in all of her digital fanciness using a moer cartoony style. Oh, I would not be surprised if you had not heard of this game, it's a pretty obscure series that not many people know about. The lead protagonist of the series, Spike, however, recently appeared as a playable fighter in Playstation All Stars Battle Royale and Casi (the character featured here) does cameo in one of his story cutscenes. That game might be why she looks familiar but I am not sure.

Oh, it's kind of an action/platformer one, though there are several spin-offs of the series that cross other genres as well. The main games involve you using high-tech, unique gadgets to capture a plethora of escaped monkeys with enhanced intelligence and put an end to their attempt at world domination. The controls were really unique in the sense that the commands for the gadgets were carried out via the playstationΒ controller's right analogue stick. Definitely a hidden gem among gaming, the best two games in the series that made it over to the US that I recommend are Ape Escape 2 and Ape Escape Pumped and Primed, which are both for playstation 2.

I played this game so much as a kid, but I sucked too much at it to get anywhere with it. I can't remember who this is, sadly. I totally forgot about the game and now I can't help but feel some nostalgia. Great drawing!

Thank you so much! Actually, it is awesome that you knew what the series was, I found that this series never caught on here in America for unknown reasons. Definitely worth a nostalgia replay, I think you'll enjoy the creative gameplay now that you are older.

Oh, no prob, I have to say that the US fan base for Ape Escape is actually pretty small-ish so you are definitely not the only one unfamiliar with the series. ^v^ It never quite caught on in the US for whatever reason, but they are very creative games worth playing if you ever come across a title from the series for cheap on Amazon.
