Seen the new Pokemon Sword and Shield trailer, and seen the new Pokemon. Gossifleur makes me think of Lilligant.


I dunno, she looks like she could make more sense as Lilligant pre-evo form than Petilil.


Also, Eldegoss is a mix between Whimsicott andΒ  Jumpluff, and I guess some Roselia too.

Yeah, they look remarkably similar. I heard that Lilligant was originally going to have a middle evolution between Petilil and Lilligant so maybe Gossifleur is what that scrapped mon would've been like.

Neat idea. Though it could be like the Petilil/Lilligant in Unova and places are descendants of Gossifleur that were brought over by colonists and then adapted to their new environments. Like regional variants except they've differentiated enough to be their own species.

Actually, yeah they both looks like they were switched from each species funilly enough.
I like the way this looks though, the coloring is nice.
