Finally a new Sonic/SpongeBob comic.I made a poll on whether this cast or the Chaotix should play on this joke. But it appears that this cast won by a landslide missplayer30.deviantart.com/jo⦠(I didn't decided on it on my own, it was you who did, sorry for anyone who voted for the Chaotix, personally I was rooting for them too. Alas.) But I did enjoy my first poll, I hope I will do it again.
Anyway, this is inspired on Shadow coming back after SA2 (Which recently turns out to be a rather bad idea to begin with, not because I think the character has become overrated as heck, but ratherΒ because of a really REALLY big reason).

No, not really. I guess I wasn't thinking that it would be a version of someone, especially. Though, I never really liked him either. I don't like that people treat him like he's a whole different character than Sonic. He's the same thing, just speechless and runs in a different style..

And the worst part is, even SEGA treats him as a different person (This is where my hatred for him truly started, it doesn't help that he is everywhere and is given SO MUCH love lately), at least there are still people out there that treats him as a younger self (I wouldn't hate him so much if he was still treated as such).
By the way, he's still gonna appear in future chapters, but as Sonic's past self. Also, I have an idea about implementing the whole Classic Sonic "issues" in some way, like I'm going to do with the Shadow "issues" too. There's gonna be a flashback focused chapter about Sonic's past (as Classic Sonic). Also, there's also gonna be mention of a period called the "Great Transition" (Reference to the Great Depression).
I hope those future ideas sound appealing to you.

Yeah, I did notice that. It's kinda strange that they do that. Though, I know quite a few people that treat Werehog like he's not Sonic too. But at least he was a bit more different.
It sounds interesting to me. It needs to be put somewhere at least. Classic Sonic is getting outta hand.

Sonic: Wow! How'd you get it back?
Shadow: It wasn't easy. The Finalhazard was quite the fighter. So eventually, we settled on a trade.
Sonic: What'd you give him?
Shadow: (Floats to Sonic and Eggman, revealing a scar along his forehead) Nothing important.

Does that implied that Shadow exchanged his brain for the Emerald?
Also, the implication of Shadow forcing Sonic and Eggman to find that damn fourth chaos Emerald that the lizard ate, apparently (And fail).

Well, he didn't want his fourth Chaos Emerald to be eaten by the orange-backed lizard. So, of course after Shadow, offended by Sonic and Eggman giving him a fake Emerald; would tie them up, use them as bait, and play "Supporting Me" (or "Live and Learn") to get Finalhazard's attention.

Oh, and Eggman probably gonna complain that they waited for three days and the lizard never appeared (Which is "hopeless"), while Sonic has to go back and feed Tails or someone else.
And Shadow probably goes insane and play jumping rope with something.

At least with Sonic and Eggman MIA, from his perspective; Tails is finally able to reverse-engineer the Death Egg Robot.
Shadow has most likely torn out his brain stem, walked into the middle of a nearby four-way intersection on the ARK, and started jumping rope with it.
