Finally a new Sonic/SpongeBob comic.I made a poll on whether this cast or the Chaotix should play on this joke. But it appears that this cast won by a landslide missplayer30.deviantart.com/jo⦠(I didn't decided on it on my own, it was you who did, sorry for anyone who voted for the Chaotix, personally I was rooting for them too. Alas.) But I did enjoy my first poll, I hope I will do it again.
Anyway, this is inspired on Shadow coming back after SA2 (Which recently turns out to be a rather bad idea to begin with, not because I think the character has become overrated as heck, but ratherΒ because of a really REALLY big reason).

Oh, it is one of my favorite too, as well as one of the episodes that made me get into the show (I mean I already saw some episodes of that show when I was much younger, but I never really got into it, although it does have its funny and memorable moments).

I heard that SEGA wants them to use the characters from the main universe "SPARINGLY" in that show. I wish that it was the three as whole, because apparently, the Chaotix are cursed to either not appear at all or not appear or being playable as whole (Especially in spin-off games).
Now their own stupid rule caused to not have the whole Chaotix in that universe (Which is why I keep praying every night for a third season, so that we can see Espio and Charmy too, but I heard that they're gonna continue the show in another platform that isn't Cartoon Network, but don't expect to hear anything about season 3 until later).

Also, the comic was either about them or the Chaotix, but it appears that everyone voted for Sonic, Eggman and Shadow, and they won by a landslide (Even after the poll ended).
I'm not sure who you voted for in that poll, if you voted for them, then congrats, but if you voted for the Chaotix instead, then I feel bad for you.
I have plan for at least two more comics like this, they'll come out eventually.

Well, I didn't actually see the poll in time to vote, but if I had I probably would've chose Sonic, Eggman, and Shadow. To me, it makes more sense that way.

I think because Shadow actually did "die" or was supposed to, and so his part made sense for that. Though, IDK, Sonic and Eggman are a bit random for the part. Though, they were both there so...

Yep. I always think it's kinda interesting how that happened. That he only came back for their purpose- I mean. It makes me wonder how things would've been had he not come back. Though, I can't really imagine it changing too much- except that Team Dark wouod have a different member. I wonder who it would've been.

Actually, team Dark wouldn't have existed AT ALL (And Omega wouldn't have been created either), while Rouge would be part of Team Rose, replacing Big (Who would have been in a different team altogether). Not to mention there would have been more teams, and Metal Sonic would've been part of a team (Along with two certain characters that fans kept on clamoring him to be brought back in the mainstream, and recently did. Man, how would the Chaotix react to this? XD), instead of being a villain like in the final game. But then, if most of those characters were brought back to Heroes, then the Chaotix wouldn't be anything special, especially compared to them.
Because of this, I have more of a love-hate relationship against Shadow (There's no point on going around claiming that I hate him, because he has WAY more fans than haters). Despite this, he isn't my most hated Sonic character (In fact, you won't believe who's my most hated Sonic character is. Which is saying something, because even my least favorite characters are just disliked/not-really-fond at worse, not outright hatred like I feel toward this character, which is weird because I used to be ok with them.)
Since he was the reason that those plans got modified THIS much just to bring him back, I have a plan to implement this idea in my comic.

Well, as I said before, I don't hate him, in fact I do enjoy some things about him, however, I do find him overrated, and I hate the fact that he acts like as if he was with the main four ever since the beginning. Ah, it's up to you to guess it. Try to think all of the characters on top of your head, so that I can see which one is correct.

Well the main four refers to Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy (And for some reason, Shadow is often included with them too, making it the "main five" instead).

However, none of the character listed are correct. However you're getting a little warmer with Metal Sonic.
By the way, I used to hate Big as a child, because I always thought he shouldn't be part of Team Rose (Rouge would've been a MUCH better choice) and was a distracting team member to me. Even today, I still think he's a bad choice, not as abysmal as Vector, but still. At least I don't hate Big anymore, but I still have no interest in him.

I used to really dislike Big, too, and I always thought he was kind of pointless. Recently, though, I've kind of started to get fonder of him. He's funny, at least. I think he's kind of just like a passerby to the other Sonic characters, which...I don't know. I don't hate him anymore either.
Oh, I see. Gee, those are quite some interesting team ideas. Honestly, I would've loved having Nack, Bark, and Bean. I kinda like them. But...Chaos? That's just random. Honestly, I like the way the teams turned out to be. I'm biased, I'm sure. But I think I'd miss the characters if they were put differently. I could do without Shadow, because I think that would make his appearance in SA2 so much more meaningful/ mysterious. Though, I do like him around anyway.

No, the character that I hate isn't a robot, by "close" I mean something else. Actually, you got even warmer with Mighty. You're getting close but not quite (You can do it).
I'm probably the only one who doesn't get Mighty's popularity (In fact, Fang is so much better). But I don't hate him per say. He is just bland, personality and design-wise, along with Ray.
Yeah, the teams we got are simpler that way (I'd imagine playing with six team would be so tedious anyway, but at least it's worth for more teams). However, I'm still salty that we didn't get that version of team Rose instead. I'd replace Team Dark with team Hooligan or Team Mighty just so we can get that Team Rose instead. Also, do you find a sense of irony that Mighty hangs out with Metal Sonic? XD

He is close to Metal Sonic, not because he's a villain, in fact he's a hero, and a retro character, he already existed ever since the earliest games (And I mean earliest), just like the robot.
