Description
ForEmily's greatest fear is that she will be ordered to kill someone one day, as she is a part of the military. Yes, that's another reason why she dislikes shooting. If she was ordered to shoot someone, and even worse, if it was a civilian, it would break her.
I attended a lecture on digital background drawing and was recommended a book on digital drawing techniques, so I tried some new things in this picture. It took longer than I expected, but I'm quite satisfied. At least it isn't my usual backgroundless, static and boring stuff.

The angle is perfect. Unusual angles are great for disorientation, arent they? And despite the light shining behind Emily, the blood is somehow the brightest, most noticeable thing in the picture.

Quite a tough fear to conquer. But its a wonderful idea. Especially with a lot of stories having the character kill someone and walk it off. Good job!

I love the new technique! It looks amazing!! The tilt of the picture really gives it this extra unreal feeling, like the world is spinning out from under her feet. The red of the blood really draws your eyes too. It looks really amazing!!
A fear like that is very understandable, and very real since she's a part of the military, that could very well happen. Though I really hope it doesn't!!!

And she will have to use her gun in the future, though fortunately not on civilians and it should make her rather glad she learned how to use it. She will come dangerously close to fulfilling this fear though.

I see so much improvement in your art. As I said earlier, I love the "dramatic angle" of this a lot. And the colors and shading add more depth into this picture. I really really love it.
