I have to admit on first glance I mistook this for a digital painting.
The pastel shades, fairy-tale setting and serene perfection give that overall feeling.
Despite the sensual nature of the costume it's quite a touching and gentle scene.Β There is nothing tawdry or wanton about this, and there is an essential sweetness that shines through.Β The pastel shades and hues of similar colours give a slightly surreal feel to the setting which adds to that fantasy, fairy tale feeling.
