Wherever you are...I decided to do a Valentine's Day picture that was actually kinda sad... even though I'm optimistic on Valentine's Day - just 'cuz you're not dating someone doesn't mean you can't share the love with your friends~!
Anyway... yes. It's Adachi. I chose the title because of the incomplete heart hand thing - which was the idea that inspired the picture. He's all alone, wallowing in the fact that he's alone for Valentine's day. I also figured if I made him alone it not only fit his character, but made the piece an open pairing so I can't get flamed by anyone for disliking the pairing.
I added the box of chocolates as I was drawing it and thought it looked good. It's up to you whether that box is one that he bought for himself to make himself feel better or whether it's for a special someone.
What I'd really like is for someone to do a companion piece with a character to complete Adachi's heart, original, canon, anyone. If you'd like to take on the challenge, note me! I can make the file of Adachi sans background available to you~
I also figured I'd join a contest - hey, there's prizes! - and enter this into 's Valentine's Day Contest, so... wish me luck~
Tohru Adachi belongs to Shigenori Soejima and Atlus, this idea was all mine though.

I'm suprised he didn't have a cabbage as a date. Now I just had a mental image of Adachi in a restaurant, opposite him is a cabbage in a blonde wig with lipstick and a dress.

I agree. If it's supported by canon, I'm all 'naaawwwww' but when I find fanart about two characters who, well just shouldn't be together, I close the window. Then usually spend half an hour crying.

It's not like there are many options, it's either happy or sad (or generic, but I think that would fall on the happy said). Kudos on wanting to do something different though, can't fault that.
