At least from a design point, yes. Her name evolved with her character history and personality.

Huh, pretty cool. That is similar to what happenef to my character Maizalana. She started out as two characters. Herself by the name Amber, and her anti by the name of Alana. Eventually, I decided to combine them into one and repurpose Alana's design for a new character who is currently not on dA yet.
