Another art trade, this time for , the prompt being Mom and her sons, Walt, Larry, and Igner from Futurama.

Where to begin... well, firstly, I thought it was awesome that *kik0thek1ller suggested these particular chars; they really are underloved in the fandom :c So I got to thinking.. Mom and sons, Mom and sons... what would be something fun to do with them?
Of course, the first thing that jumped to mind was SLEEPOVER! 8D After which I said nah that's silly... but then I really thought about it and started musing about what type of pajamas they'd wear and a mental image of Mom in hair curlers came to mind and... this happened xD; The concept just grabbed me I guess Px

The idea I had seemed to be best expressed in comic form so I went with it. It seemed to me that being the oldest, Walt would take the role of telling the scary story since it'd give him the chance to show his authority by scarin the bejeezus out of his younger siblings. Yep~ The situation might seem a little farfetched, but I think it sort of makes sense - with the absence of a father figure and such a domineering mother figure, who even calls herself 'Mom' to the public, I think they'd have some trouble growing up. Her sons can heed her commands in a competent way and behave like adults to the world, but privately, I think they'd retain some childishness.

In an artistic sense, this is a very pleasing piece for me to have completed AKA I'm pretty proud of it! 8D It took longer than usual, but it was well worth it. I loved working on the expressions, the details of their clothing/objects around the room, and the lettering/word bubbles <3 I dunno if the lighting makes complete sense, but I wanted you to be able to see the details of the stuff in their makeshift tent B: It still seems a little too dark, but eh. The bag of chips to the far right is supposed to be Bachelor Chow but I didn't put the font; just felt like pointing that out.

Ooh yes and the scary story! It's supposed to be about a runaway suicide booth that goes around massacring everyone. In the first ep, one of the choices of death modes besides "quick and painless" is "slow and horrible".
