I am loving your art, it all has a very pink floyd/tool feel. makes me want to do drugs and ponder the meanings of 'em all...a little critique: clean up the edges where you smudged, it makes it look a little too "photo-shop-ey", but other than that, all my thoughts are good ones. mucho talent.

Nice work again. You got some great texture in this one, and nice detail. I like the way you did the spikes coming out of the head. It looks like onyx. The way you did the skin made it look very dry and pealing away. Keep it up.

I'm completely self-taught... just many, many hours of messing around in Photoshop and Painter. I've never taken an art class in my life.

A small point of criticism however, that there's a prevailent presence of the smudge tool, particularly where those notches are cut into beneath the neck...not sure whether that was your intention or not, but it stood out for me...
