I wonder how Princess Celestia would take the idea of that in the future, a KII-Civilization could build a dyson sphere around the Sun and manipulating its output with technology to harvest its energy and matter?

It's an interesting question. I guess she might have an actual connection to the star, or at least a strong emotional bond. I guess not even a long-lived Celestia really thinks in the cosmic scale of stars dying out and civilizations having to move on, but she'd probably be cool with it when Equestria reached the KII state.

She probably would. This would effectively mean, though, that mortal ponies had surpassed the Alicorns, in that at KII and beyond they could freely manipulate celestial objects and forces of the universe at their whims on a interstellar to cosmic scale.Β
