after a petty little argument the other evening saying i have not progressed in my art, which i agreed on though,(hence the last journal lol ) i feel i may have improved a little in the 9 years i have been on here ( 8....9?....not sure)so i chose to redraw an old drawing
chose this one:
any improvement? or still same old same old?
and also, if there is any old drawings in my gallery that you like to see me redraw, just comment away
but overall, i dont give a crap on what progress i have made, just happy to draw weird shit that amuses me

Sorry to hear about the argument, was wondering about that journal, it seemed a bit weird suddenly.
You've joined dA in 2008, so you're almost here for 10 years. The image you're comparing though is from 2010, so that's 8 years old.
I think there's definitely some improvement in your work. Obviously not as much as could be with more consistent drawing and practice, but as you said, it's more a hobby for you (and that's totally fine). As always I'm glad to see your images ^^

ah i was annoyed with a fave spammer, one that faved like nearly 200+ pics in a half hour, i just got shitty, i was in the wrong by being an arsehole, but was said is said now, but yeah, i do not too this consistently to be the great artist, just do it for a hobby
but thanks for the words ed, hopefully in another 10yrs, i may get advanced with technology and use my drawing with better art tools, but for now, just a pencil, paper and my phone to take a picture and upload it
i get discouraged by technology advancing too quick, i feel some things are fine as they are and don't need it to make my life better/easier, just an old fuddy-duddy lol

I usually just interpret the fav spammers as people who find your gallery for the first time and like it But anyway, just keep in mind that keeping yourself happy and interested is the most important thing, all else is optional if it doesn't contribute to that one factor!
