Excellent composition and contrast, I love the slight grain. Your whole series was very impressive, but this photo was definitely my favourite - you've almost brought the statue to life.

great capture!! the perspective you took made it look as if she wanted to hop out of the fence (even if there wasn't one) and run away from wherever the hell she was. awesome!

I had to add this to my favs. The way you have captured the statue is absolutely brilliant. I'm not one much for religious imagery, hence, I'll mention the pose and aesthetic of the composition. My eyes immediately are drawn to her eyes, following her gaze upwards to ward the white negative space, then, contained by the branch above her, it follows the cross down to her arm, and around, resting in the dark area of her wings, before continuing in a circle to the branc, and back to her eye. A perfect composition!

Great this piece has a lot of emotion to it, the branch above frames the shot perfectly and the light on the face gives a sense of enlightenment. Lovely!

I am really enjoying this series from Highgate! I truly love photos taken in cemetaries- they seem to always have the most expressive statues full of emotion your angles and light are beautiful~

these pictures are simply amazing, when i went, (a few weeks ago) we had to take a guided tour because they would not let you walk around, and they wouldn't let you take professional photographs, so you can imagine my dissapointment. Anyway, keep up the good work
