Redesign of Kraven from Spider-Man.
Concept: In order to hunt something, you must wear its skin. He paints himself like spider man. and wears a lion pelt like a pauldron/half cape.

I removed the vest concept and replaced it with the holster/pauldron thing. I never understood if the vest was a lion face, so I was going to work its iconography into an actual jacket design... And it felt too pedestrian for a redesign. I wanted to do something with a bit more balls. I think the spider-man paint is much more interesting and worthy of time.

Final illustration will have a pose and facial expression that expresses his rage and instability.

I think Kraven has been a really underappreciated villain. I like him.
