Description
©2009 Sarah B. Seiter - Do not use without permission - Colored Pencil/Watercolors - Original 10" X 20"A book, I think, is very like
A little golden door
That takes me into places
Where I've never been before.
It leads me into fairyland
Or countries strange and far
And, best of all, the golden door
Always stands ajar.

Well, I have only one more board, so it will have to be soon I also still want to get some of that black board. Darin gets paid in a couple of days, so I could probably do it sometime on Tuesday since Darin is off work then and can keep the kiddies. Would that work for you? I'd have to be back by 6pm since I have belly dance that night

Its quite brilliant and reminds me of the fairy color book, I have no idea of the title, but when I was quite young, so very long ago, it was there in the shelves of my school. It was about a set of keys and I believe seven doors, red and green and yellow and indigo and so on, and each one led to a different fairy land..... I have never found it again, but I remember it to this day.

I have tried to locate it on google a few times. Maybe if I used one of the bibliography programs to search with... I may restart my search.. now see what you have done? Reopened a forgotten treasure box, and your not even one of my little nude muses. Just a very respected and beloved fellow artist, though Jess did promise she would pose for me if we ever got together...

Well, please let me know if you find it
I would love to do a photo shoot. Though nude is not in my comfort zone, I do have plenty of lovely costumes

I certainly will. And whispy could work... I just don't happen to agree with the idea of the extinct victorian fairies, seeing as they are extinct because they kept getting caught in brush and trees in those flowy robes and stuff.
A nature spirit that is in the form of a naturally winged being is simply not going to go against nature and wear drag, weight and entanglements.

That reminds me of a book, but I can't think what it is, because it also reminds me quite strongly of Wee Sing in Sillyville, a little kids' movie with overtones of racial equality. It was about a coloring book these kids went into after their dog fell in, and there were little countries for each color.
It also makes me think of The Magician's Nephew (Chronicles of Narnia), but that's neither here nor there.
Blast. The book does sound familiar. Maybe it's not a book I've read, but one I've always wanted to read? Good luck finding it!
