Barbossa gifting a necklace of black pearls to Jack. <3I didn't even try to think of a backstory for this. XD Where did Barbossa get the pearls? Did he just find them? Did he buy them? Why is Jack shirtless? Why does he look troubled? Why is Barbossa being so nice? XD Anybody who wants to try and figure any of this out will have my undying love. ;DDD

oh! The pearls are an apology! he stole tem from a jewlers because he saw Jack admiring them. What you can't see is a huge scar on Jack's back from when he and Barbossa got in a fight. Jack looks troubled because he isnt sure if he should forgive Barbossa!

I shouldn't have looked at this after a day of looking at Snape/Lily, Harry/Voldemort and Harry/Draco pictures. My first thought was "Wait...so Barbossa's in Slytherin and Jack's in Gryffindor, what??"
Anyway, great job. Is Barbossa standing on a block? Hee. I love this pairing.

It looks like Jack is resigned...like his spirit has been broken....like Barbossa 'enslaved' him and then the necklace is a reward for being a 'good boy'/boytoy

He's always had the black pearls. He and Jack where togehter before the mutany. Thats why the chip is called what it is.

Barbossa wrestled the pearls from a clam xD ok sorry,Jacks worried cause um its creepy when Barbossas nice to him and Barbossas being nice cause hes got more apples and rum.Jacks shirtless cause Barbossa likes de nipples.Ok im done.

They're part of swag he and the new crew of the Black Pearl pilaged. He was going to barter them, but thought better.
Eventually, Jack finds him and the Black Pearl again, and Barbossa invites him aboard--much to his suspicions. They fight, drink, argue, and drink some more, and have a moment remembering what it was like before the mutiny. And then sex. 
Next morning, Jack tries to leave without waking Barbossa, but he DOES wake, and catches Jack without a shirt. Barbossa makes snide comments about owning the pearl, and that Jack should have his own.
And gives him the necklace. :3

Good fic. I love the part where Barbossa is completely bewildered as Jack argues with himself outloud. Oh and I thought that you should know that trying to link to other sites on fanfiction.net doesn't work, in short you've got a blank spot in the very begining of your fic. Barbosa dove for the pearls himself and made the necklace. They are lovers and umm..... he got kicked off the boat not becuase of the mutiny but because they had a fight.
