I may need to use this for my pixel work...are you able to do a pine/fir tree tutorial? I find trees difficult even if it is not pixel stuff XD. Thanks so much for the help

Clouds seem much less intuitive to me, lol, than other elements of a landscape. I can see in your mountain tutorial how the steps combine to make the whole, but it's much more difficult to piece the steps together for clouds. I think it's because they lack an actual shape, being wispy, so it's harder to pick out the different elements.
I'm really glad you made this tutorial. It's a big step forward for me, thank you.

AH! So thats what people are useing to make classic sprites! I use photoshop for mine and my stuff look more next gen than classic.

I think as long as the only tool you use is the pencil/brush tool, it doesn't matter what programme you use.

Have I ever told you i love you <3 lol I was wondering how to make clouds and then I look through the recent deviations and again you have a tutorial that I really need, you don't know it but you've been a great help to me.

Jae you should do a dithering tutorial. ._. I tried my hand at it once or twice but it doesn't look nearly as smooth as yours.

Thats an exellent request. It took me many years to understand how to start with a 'checker' pattern and evolve to x's and bi - mark gradients. Ill do this when I get home.
