The ending I always wanted for Jessie and James is for the ending of Pokemon 2000 to keep them as heroes, and then show the fallout of their trying to be freelance heroes, having no money, still being suspected by the police, and also having to deal with the rest of Team Rocket trying to get rid of them:
Jessie: Why are they trying to kill us?
James: Because we know too much!
Meowth: Den why're dey tryin' ta kill you?
