Went roleplaying, fought rock-hard Drider king (affectionately called 'Mr. Choppy'), sketched a dwarf. As you do!My first reallly real dwarf! He's soooo hairy!
I've been meaning to branch out from elves the like for a while now... and what could be more diametrically opposed than a dwarf. I actually found him quite difficult - wrinkles are hard to render, and skimpy elven armour easier to design and think about than cumbersome dwarf armour. Still, he has hairy ears and I had lots of fun drawing that huuuge nose of his 
No reference, about an hour? In between getting killed (grrrr), getting raised (yay!) and fighting Mr. Choppy and his accompanying army of driders and flesh golems. Wheeee!!!

I really like it, but the ears are definitely not dwarven enough. It's like he's some blasphemous 3/4 dwarf, 1/4 elf thingy. And he still doesn't quite look as rugged as he could, for the lips and cheekbones and nose and such. Still, it might be your personal style, it's hard to compare since a lot of your stuff is elves. But it's a very good dwarf nevertheless.

Spectacular Dwarf! I always admire a good Dwarf, because they're not really all that popular when it comes to art. I like how this one doesn't look like he could just be a short and stocky human. I feel like they ought to have their own racial look to them.

I just spent a bit of time typing out this comment then accidnetally hit cancel. So. Here is the short version.
This is absolutely lovely. I prefer the pointy ears as I think they are more accurate for typical underground cavern dwellers anyways (bats anyone?). I think we all just assume they have round ones.
I think that if you need extra money, given the quality of the work you produce, you should look into doing character commissions for such games as World of Warcraft and EverQuest. Your skill is amazing.
This picture in particular really reminds me of a WoW dwarf and I think that you could make a lot of money. You should check out the work on the site itself and see what I mean (worldofwarcraft.com)
I only wish I could produce such pictures for characters and images in my mind.

This is pretty cool... I can't draw dwarves at all, not to say I haven't tried... they end up looking like migdits with lycanthropy. I love the braids! Nothing better than a smash dwarf to bust up driders... sweet

He's wonderful! (And thank you for not drawing him in skimpy elven armor!) I love his beard. It's so smoothly done while still managing to look 'dwarvish'. If that makes any sense... And his eyes are beautiful! They're so sharp. He looks like he could either kick your ass or drink you under the table. Or both.

I did wonder that... old habits die hard, I guess! Since my elven ears are huge, long pointy affairs, I thought I was being restrained... should have gone with the 'old rugby players ears' thing, methinks
