Rosewood is good for charms and is a mildly flexible wood.

Dragon Heartstring (oh the irony) Is a powerful core and is good but not good for subtle displays of magic although it can be sometimes. Doesn't work well with some woods.

Mother of Pearl signifies faith, charity, and innocence, enhances personal integrity, and helps to provide focus to ones attention. The pearl has been known as a stone of sincerity, bring truth to situations and loyalty to a cause. It has been used to inhibit boisterous behavior, and to provide a reflection of the self such that one may see the manner in which one appears to others.

Finding what each was good with was terribly annoying. I couldn't find anything. But then I found this one site and I totally copy pasted from there to yah. There is Ana's wand.
