Actually, its not really that hard with Apophysis; I don't even knwo the advanced stuff with Apophysis, like using scripts. More than anything, you have to be rather patient with it, as sometimes it gives you something good and sometimes it doesn't.

Good luck Also, when using it, remember that you can always hit "undo". And be sure to save the flame when you go to render; if something goes wrong you can just open that flame and (hopefully) be back where you were.

I've downloaded the program, and will try playing with it later when I have more time. It looks like a fairly simple program to use, but that can be decieving. I bookmarked the tuts just in case.
