Description There are certain
Professions where you can
Peek into
A person's soul

Librarians know every
Book you've read, and
The favorites you've
Renewed,
They know you try
To find in these stories
The ones that aren't
(or are)
In your own life

Florists write the
Messages that go with
The bouquets,
The emotions of the person,
Or how they would
Like to make their emotions
Appear

Letter carriers know
If you are a
Beauty-monger,
An intellectual,
A celebrity yuppie,
Your level of responsibility:
How often do those
Late fee reminders come?
Do you write to your
Mother?
(Does she write
Back?)

Police with
Search warrants
Know what's important
To you;
What you've kept

Lawyers know
Your secret weaknesses;
Where you flounder
And what you will not
Reveal to the
Court

Oh, how we trust
Them
Not to tell
They might even
Know more of us
Than our friends do

I keep thinking librarians are going to go OMIGAWD I READ THAT BOOK TO. But they don't, ahaha. Probably because so many people check books out that it must become rather wearying

I really like the theme of this one. It's quite interesting to think about.

I supppose it does. I don't think I would ever find it tiring, though. I like knowing people's private lives(to a certain extent, anyway...*ahem*) I'm already sort of a secret keeper, so I was thinking of people where it's their actual *job*, as in they get *paid*
Thanks

Ahahaha stalker! ^^ It's probably interesting 'cause people's lives are like stories but real, which is just awesome

...I think my sister would agree with you. She wants to be a psychologist/psychiatrist or whatever because people's problems are just so darn interesting

Hahaha that also sounds like her ^^

You...asked?

I just commented on the won't let you submit thing. Um. If it gets really impossible, I might just submit it myself (I think there's some way I can do that) If you want, you can be a moderator, also. It means you have 'Group Messages' aka you have to click on whether stuff's accepted or not but I think it might be easier to submit that way?

Huh. Do you mind if I just submit in features and u move it?

Alois-Noette In reply to mistsofavalon4ever [2010-02-22 02:33:22 +0000 UTC]

I can't move it from features...

There's a little + to the right of the bar that says Literature, and that should let you submit to there. *sigh* It might be like how Writer's Club was being weird; my submissions always got messed up there somehow

Could be. Oh well. Right now it won't even let me contribute art, just says Suggest a fave... *facepalm* so maybe I'll just suggest faves for now?

O.o Why won't it let you contribute? That's weird.

You could tell me which deviations you want in Literature and I could submit them, maybe?

I think there's some discussion board or something about group glitches. You might want to ask there. I don't know.

o.O I don't know either...maybe. I'll give it one last try, and if not, maybe you can ^^

Very true.
I did work experience in a library. It's very interesting, seeing what people read.

Ha thanks. It came to me after reading this book called "Ice Queen" where the woman is a librarian and knows everyone's secrets. Also this movie "Love Happens" where the woman is a florist ^^

It just feels like I'm being stripped by judgmental assholes (and in most cases, it is true)

Literary snobs are the *worst*. I try not to be one. I know this because during my volunteer work at book signings people were so... *sniff*

people need to lighten up. Even though people can learn from books, its also an outlet of enjoyment, which some don't seem to get
