so as i sit heredefeated once again
i look up at you
and softly whisper
"i'd rather it end this way..."
and as your eyes misted
i saw you hesitate
and i felt a moment of relief
and a moment of regret
i thought to myself
just end it now...
but then you walked away...

Very good... I can still tell it's a manipulation, but overall, very good... Something about the tree needs changing...

Also, looking back at the original images, GREAT job blending them. My artsy side can still tell it's a manipulation, but it's SOOO close to looking natural. Shadows and brightness/contrast play a large part in how you merge two images...

That's part of it... it's lighter than the background, just darken it a little... the same goes for the two people... granted, the brightness of the people makes it high contrast and is kinda good, but try to up the contrast on the two people, so that they have darker darks and whiter whites... that might help...
