finally done!
contest entry for Love-Of-Foxes
I think that's the best work I've made so far

the contest consists in draw your character and the group's mascot with elemental powers~
I wasn't going to enter the contest, but when the deadline was moved back to my birthday date (sep. 23) I wanted to make something for it.

I made about 3 sketches, but I disliked them all. that night, when I was going to bed (eh, almost all my inspirations come when I go to bed) I had the idea of correspond the 4 elemental powers to the 4 seasons!

I made these relations:
spring: earth
summer: fire
autumn: air
winter: water

since the contest ends in the passage of summer/autumn I used these powers for them!
Also you can note that the background is kinda "divided" on misty's part, it's summer, and on pepper's part it's autumn.
Misty, representing the summer, is stopping to run, and giving place to pepper change the season to autumn!

also, if you noticed, misty is with a crystal that I call "iridescent" more info will be added for it in the ref sheet I'm making for her.

I hope my description isn't much confusing

Also! just to have it registrated (if you look fixely...) misty's lineart isn't colored!
in the middle of the work (hopefully when the backgound was completed) my PSD file was corrupted (a program mistake while saving) and I remained only with the steps I exported in png (sadly I didn't save the last step before it crashed)
misty's shading wasn't done yet, so I had to crop her flatcolors from the steps and put over the most recent file, and shade over it :sweat:

Fortunately, everything came out good on the end!
