After much evaluation, JoJo silently pronounced the object satisfactory, and deposited it in his pocket. It wasn't long before his steps towards his bedroom window were glued firm by a nearby "clinking" sound which came from the hallway....

Here is page two -- or, 1b, rather -- of the "Hoops" comic. This thing sure looked a lot better in my sketchbook.... (snigger)

Obviously, this is the moment in the film (Horton Hears a Who!) where JoJo makes for the abandoned observatory before being stopped suddenly by a water-carrying Ned. I just decided to play with the scene a bit; plus, that little do-hickey that JoJo put inside his pocket will come in handy later on.

Advanced critique is greatly appreciated.
