This seems very helpful. I'm tempted to draw him now. I don't draw cartoons normally. I have never started with that circle and those lines when drawing people. I always found it easier to do without it if I'm drawing someone. It's the way I've learned I guess.

Everyone has their own style and method of drawing. What works for one person may not work for another. This is simply how I draw -- anyone else is invited to try out the technique I use, but if theirs works better for them then, by all means, they should do it their way.
