I thought that I would experiment with color, as I haven't been doing so as often as I should. Naturally, I chose Russell as my test subject.You may recognize this drawing from a collage of Up sketches that I recently submitted to my gallery. I simply cropped it out of the original compilation of images and touched it up in my dad's Photoshop CS2 program. It was quite fun to color, I must admit!

Yep! I never knew I'd have so much fun coloring in Photoshop until I tried it out. I still prefer traditional media over digital media, though.

Oh my dear Lord.... I just about died when I saw this.... 
I love the way you colored this! It's really good to see more colored pieces turning up in your art gallery. Did you color this using a tablet? If you colored it in the computer, you did an incredible job of preserving the original line art. I love the way it looks with all the sketch lines in it!!

Yeah, I used my dad's Wacom/Cintiq tablet and pen to color this with. There's no way I could have used a mouse. I'm not that technologically adept.
Thanks! I'm glad you like the sketch lines. I often leave them in to preserve that natural quality of the drawing.
