"What a piece of junk!" - Luke SkywalkerAnd so it is! This is the type of stuff that I draw in my spare time, because I'm unoriginal (for the time being) and can't think of anything else to draw except... cartoon characters.
From left to right, and from top to bottom, these are the characters pictured:
- Flint Lockwood (from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs)
- 9 (from 9)
- Some random cat creature
- Ned McDodd and Horton (from Horton Hears a Who!)
- Dug (from Up)
My sister got a good laugh out of that one 9 drawing... where he's looking at something above him with a critical eye. Oddly enough, it's my favorite of the bunch.
Oh, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs fan art was inevitable. Flint is just too adorable not to draw.
Note: References were used for several of the drawings pictured (namely, the top sketch of Flint, the first full-body drawing of 9, the Ned and Horton depictions, and maybe the middle sketch of Dug).

These are all great sketches. I'm particularly fond of the Flint on the bottom. His big goofy smile just makes me feel happy. XD
I really like 9 in you're style, it's just so cute the way you draw his eyes!

You're drawings of Horton and Ned are amazing and as always the shading is good. It makes me feel like watching that movie again. ^^P

I actually watched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs this weekend and the expressions in the movie were SO funny, and I think you captured that well
And anything Dug makes me happy

Ha-ha. Yeah, they can be fun. I don't often submit sketch dumps, but I had so many loose drawings lying around that it called for one.
I concur. The expressions were hilarious! I love that section in the movie where Flint is trying to look his dad in the eye. Great stuff.

Oh gosh, that part was adorable, as was the moment where he was staring at his mom with this ecstatic look on his face after she'd given him the lab coat. They really played upon the "puppy dog eyes" expression in that film. Heh.
