the whole john carter series if theperfect kind of series to display visual changes in characters

multiple times that i can recall character acquire wearable items, or are hurt in some way that would likely produce scar

really, the rumors that the first movie is going to be the first three books worry me, because that was in the paramount script

and that is just unfeasable, it seems to be a decision based solely on book length rather than on content

and content wise you could probably convert each book into a single season of a tv show

the margin for error is just to wide, that is why disney was to scared to risk any of their own people on the project because they know their people suck.

but they are just rumors

if it is at least better than the asylum film i will be happy

Well I know Matai Shang is in the movie so it must spill at least into the second book.

unless they made alterations to a rincess of mars to include him

a second and third book could maybe be crammed together


but ten friggin years pass beetween book one and two, ten very plot important years

not martian years either
earth years, which is like five martian years

but still very important

everything about matai shang they seem to be screwing up

making him entirely bald, with no wig

putting him in a film he shouldnt be in

its almost like all they knew about him was that he was a bad guy in the second and third book, and were confused he wasnt there

he will probably be red in the movie too

the martian books would be way better off converted into a tv series

reading alot of martian comic adaptions

and the asylum film

i can almost say thats to much to expect from them

there was one comic in which the reds were blue, while still being called red.

alot of the time they just make them look like normal people

and thenthere is real world race issues that they may not want to get into

most series i dont think should be in the hands of fans, because fans do stupid things

but this is one series were the only way to get the true spirit of the thing is to get a true barsoom devotee.

I think it will be alot like their attempt at tarzan

hardly resembling of the original product, but still satisfying in its own ways

Sure thing.

Nope, not yet. They had some of the Mars titles, but they have to send for them from different library branches.
