i sometimes find that styles like this tend to add more character, personality and emotion to a character vs. the super smooth air brush look which can look good but can be very bland, but thats my opinion.

thank you very much - it was done as a pen sketch first and then digital but i use digital uch the same as i would with traditional mediums and well thats probably not the best way to use digital but oh well for the time being

Actually, doing digital painting the same way you'd approach traditional is a good idea
