Description I set myself a practice piece - looking at John Singer Sargent's portrait of Leon Delafosse to try and recreate through digital painting

a few different brushes of mine used, but mostly it was with teh mixing paint brush mode with the custom settings of wet: 90%, load 100%, mix 35%, flow 100% - and without sampling all layers, so i just work mostly on just a single layer or two.

Yea I always had fun spotting Sargent's work from other portrait artists... His outdoor paintings are remarkable as well, although sometimes I wonder if he only brought limited colors with him when he's outside.
