I dunnu, have you read jkrowling's short story with James and Sirius riding around on the motorbike and fighting deatheaters and joking at the same time. It just sums it up so well, they're still the bratty immature kids they've always been, but they've also been forced to grow up because the world needs it. And that is sad. Because they are in essence a lost generation .. Oh my. haha, I just love the marauders era so much xD
