Description
In Irish mythology, Brigit or Brighid ("exalted one"[1]) was the daughter of the Dagda and one of the Tuatha Dé Danann. She was the wife of Bres of the Fomorians, with whom she had a son, Ruadán. She had two sisters, also named Brighid, and is considered a classic Celtic Triple Goddess.Lady Augusta Gregory (Gods and Fighting Men, 1904), describes Brigit as "a woman of poetry, and poets worshiped her, for her sway was very great and very noble. And she was a woman of healing along with that, and a woman of smith's work, and it was she first made the whistle for calling one to another through the night. And the one side of her face was ugly, but the other side was very comely. And the meaning of her name was Breo-saighit, a fiery arrow."
A doodling of my Celtic cycle.
Dedication to the wonderful photographer Dave .

She does. And she's got the most amazing natural red hair I've ever seen.

I used her as my saint for my confirmation. I may be Catholic but the Old Gods and Goddess still mean something to me. The world is too big to be handled by one being.
It is beautiful.

Hmm. Ta näeb selle must-valge filmja tausta peal kuidagi hästi värviline välja ja ma ei suuda otsustada, kas see on hea või halb.

Poor hair. Keep your hands on your mouse/pen, please
30 hours a day, at least, would be very, very much appreciated. If you come across some time machine, please let me know as well.

I've been lurking around dA for a few years, I've been active for about two; This is about one of the nicest things to have dedicated to, I have a hard time putting my feelings to words, but thank you very very much, doodle or not, it's outstanding! So thank you very much again, brighid/brigit is the reason I'm aiming to get back to Ireland

I'm glad you like.
I had the perfect backdrop.
Ireland is one of my dreams, too. I'd just like to go around there, see all the little places (I am NOT keen on big cities and never will be, I think they're all alike) and even the islands.

Thanks. Just a quick doodle, though. I just don't have the time lately, and I'm suffering from sleep depravation. 3 hours ain't enough...
