I am sorry to say that, but I don't like it. Most your work is lovely, but this, I don't get what you were going for. It is a nice black and white portrait, with lots of detail and great contrast, (BUT THEN) comes that lighter. Fire in black and white, neeh... The fire is too... I don't know how to say it... too small? And then that chunky lighter, just doesn't feel right. Maybe it would be better without the lighter. I see you said you were going for that James Dean portrait, maybe it would have been better if you used a cigarette instead of a lighter, as James is smoking on almost all of his pictures. And yet this is just my opinion on the picture.
