Every time I think I'm getting better, I see your pictures, and and my ego deflates like a balloon. Damn you're good.

Thanks so much for the comments... I think that's only the search for details. I'm very pleased with the renders I'm getting with the new Octane 2.0 and 3.0... it's fast and easy to work on it.
I've been doing this for some years ago but the BEST suggestion I got was from Darkway... A simple brush touch, color correction turns a plain picture into a good picture and a good picture in a great work... He was absolutely right.
If you see this raw render it's nothing impressive, the POV and poses are not quite difficult to do and it's an outdoor lightning scene so it's really easy to pose light also. But the use of the MARVELOUS RON's brushes and effects and Google Nikk Philters turn it on something completely different.

I try to do as little post-work as possible, because I'm not much of an artist, so I really had to learn to get the desired look in the rendering software. I absolutely love the way your images look. Always have., I'm jealous of most artists I see since I don't have a natural ability. I just learned how to put together what I want to see on the screen, and then I render over and over with different lights till I get it right. lol.

I'll send you some Psd layers that will help you with the after action effects like bursts, smoke... Fire.

That would be awesome because I'm still doing my post work on an old machine that has photoshop 7. My new one has Photoshop CC, but I don't have things like Eye Candy and Alien Skin to do the special effects on the new machine. Just to get Electron to do the shock bolt in the image I posted here today, I had to do the difference cloud thing, and that took WAY too much time.

Using brushes at postwork is always faster and lesser consuming that 3D effects in the rendering program... I'm talking of still renders for animations is quite different.
I'm packing them to Google Drive, as soon I get then done I'll send you a mail with the links to download... It's a huge pack around 1.8 Gb.
