The aircraft had worked perfectly, much to Vickery’s intense relief and Larra had completed the purchase on the spot. She had then spent the next five months getting her expedition in order… She had finally determined that his last known appearance was in the Abyssinian province of Kaffa near a small town called Jimma. It was there that she had begun her search.
And it had brought her here; to a jungle-choked gully and a prisoner of a group of Italian soldiers who by all rights should not have been anywhere near where she was going. It was completely mystifying as well as frightening!
