Ever get that urge to draw something or someone that you havent drawn in a very long time.. For me that would be Krystal. This has to be one of my best drawings that I have done of her. To be honest I had no idea what do draw but then i thought how cool it would be to have her in her welding shop working on some projects! Like her replica Wolfclaw in the back. Inspired from her encounter with the real wolfclaw and his keeper.... KIM! (longstory..)Β I guess what made me want to do this is due to the fact that I got a new job at a welding shop, and my apprenticeship to become a fitter/welder! Im hoping to write a background story to this soon!

Real life has a funny way of making its way into the stuff we create, no?Β I similarly was inspired by my design-engineering job to create the pattern for a one-of-a-kind Sonic Team logo, computer-cut from 1/2" carbon-steel plate.
I like this concept, though.Β Illustrating Krystal in a machine-shop setting, covered with dirt and grease, operating a cutting torch, is an excellent way to show she's a contributing member of her team.

Is she taking lessons from Slippy? He's a horrible pilot, but also an engineering genius! I mean, he made first Landmaster from armored all-terrain vehicle and some Arwing spare parts, and created a pretty powerful battle submarine from recreation vehicle and spare parts for the Arwings too! Of course, he made this with some help from Beltino, but still... So, I hope, that Krystal will recieve his engineering skills without recieving his horrible piloting skills.

Yeah, now I'm curious as to how KIM got to Corneria, or Krystal got to Earth. And congrats on the new job. My older brother had a part time job at a welding shop a couple years back.
